After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Kisoro. As you fly over Lake Victoria, the world’s largest tropical lake, enjoy breathtaking views of its sparkling waters, islands, and fishing villages below.
When you land at Kisoro airstrip, our representative will meet you and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (about a 2-hour drive on a scenic, slightly bumpy road). Along the way, take in the beautiful mountain views and lush landscapes as you get closer to your gorilla trekking adventure.
On arrival, check in at Orugano Bwindi Lodge. The rest of the day is free to relax, enjoy the views, or take an optional guided walk around the lodge area.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s richest ecosystems. This dense rainforest is home to almost half of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas, as well as monkeys, forest elephants, antelopes, and over 350 bird species — a true paradise for nature lovers.

Today is the highlight of your safari — gorilla trekking! After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority. The rangers will explain the rules and safety tips for your trek.
An advance team of trackers will have already gone into the forest to find where the gorillas spent the previous night. Once they locate the family, they will radio the guides to lead your group into the forest.
The trek can take from a couple of hours to most of the day, depending on where the gorillas are. As you walk through the lush rainforest, keep an eye out for other wildlife — you might spot monkeys, baboons, and a variety of birds.
When you find the gorillas, you will spend one unforgettable hour quietly observing them as they feed, play, and interact. Watching these gentle giants up close is an extraordinary moment and one of Africa’s greatest wildlife encounters.
After the trek, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, reflecting on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kisoro Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe. On arrival, connect to your international flight home.
